A snowboarder who was accounted for as absent by relatives was discovered dead at Northstar California Resort prior this week, as indicated by the Placer County Sheriff's Office.
A missing individual's report was recorded Wednesday for Danieson Crowder, 41, of Vallejo after he went on a performance snowboarding trip two days sooner and did not return.
Inquiry and-salvage groups investigated where the missing snowboarder could be, the Placer County Sheriff's Office told SFGATE, and found that Crowder may in any case be on the mountain.
Crowder's vehicle was still in the parking garage secured with snow, and groups looked through the mountain. His body was found by a ski watch, said Placer County Sgt. Dave Hunt.

The sheriff's office recognized Crowder in a tweet Saturday evening, saying he was found in a tree well.
Particularly high snow levels have made dangers for skiers and snowboarders this year, Hunt said.
Crowder's family did not quickly react to a demand to remark.
